SysMind LTT-activities have started!

In the past weeks and months, there has been a lot of work done on the curriculum and materials for the upcoming learning-teaching-training activities, which will be implemented as a blended learning course. The starting point was an online session on the 21 February 2023 and approximately 20 teachers and lecturers from six countries are participating in the course. it is divided into three modules, which take place partly online and partly in presence. The first module deals with the field of tension between knowledge (science) and values or attitudes. Prof. Wilhelm Linder gave a very interesting introduction into the complex topic of sustainability and during the upcoming workshop in Spain from 30.03.-01.04.2023, the participants will focus on their own values and attitudes.

The next Transnational Partner Meeting will also be in Spain from 27.-28.03.2023, we will keep you updated!

In the 6th meeting the reports were discussed. There are templates for this that can be found on Moodle.
After each transnational meeting, the newsletter has to be written. This means that the tasks for this and the topics to be written were distributed.
In addition to the BL course and the curriculum for it, the Learning Teaching Training Activities were also on the programme today for the first time.

7th Online-Meeting | 01 2023

The agenda for the 7th meeting included the upcoming meetings (dates, participants, etc.) and the travel information for the LTTs in Spain. Another item was information on the budget and a status survey on the LTT participants.

2nd Newsletter

The second Transnational SysMind Meeting was from 27th until 28th September 2022 in Skopje.

Unfortunately, the meeting started without our project manager Michael Prodinger – he became ill the day before the travel was supposed to start. Luckily, he could be represented on site by Klaus Karpf, one of the authors of the SysMind project.

We had a warm welcome in the evening of arrival at a typically North Macedonian Restaurant. In the morning we were picked up at the Hotel to get to the University Ss. Cyril & Methodius by a 10 minutes’ walk.

The University, especially the faculty of Philosophy was shown by the rector, Ratko Duev. A big attraction was situated downstairs in the cellar:  there we saw some impressive archaeological excavations. After this short walk around we started to work on our Agenda.

The missing Partner from Spain joined us via Zoom, also Michael Prodinger. He informed the partners that this meeting should be his last one and introduced Silke Schaumberger as the designated project manager, she took part via zoom too. All the other partners were present. On our first day the structure and content of the curriculum was discussed by all partners. The Latvian University asked to hand over the Result 2 lead as well as the already done work to the University Ss. Cyril & Methodius in order to further develop and finish the curriculum.

We started the second day with fixing and planning upcoming dates and events. As the first LTT was drawing near, potential topics were identified and discussed for the rest of the meeting.

Afterwards, we had a short city tour, visiting the touristic sites of Skopje, before we finalised our transnational meeting with a fantastic dinner and our departures on the next day.

3rd Online-Meeting | 05 2022

We used our third online meeting again for organisational matters. Firstly, we discussed the finalisation of Result 1. Then we were able to present our first newsletter and send it to all partners for translation. Quality management and the overview of Result 2 as well as a first look at the website completed the meeting.

4th Online-Meeting | 06 2022

In our 4th online meeting we talked about Result 2, the curriculum and the blendesd learning course. Sandra, the responsible person for Result 2, presented her proposals. In a constructive discussion, we made another step forward.

5th  Online-Meeting | 09 2022

We used the 5th online meeting to make final preparations for the transnational meeting in Skopje. The curriculum and the BL course were also discussed.

1st Transnational Meeting in Vienna | 04 2022

From 4 to 6 April (including travel day) we met for the first Transnational Meeting in Vienna. The joy was great, so we started on 4 April with a leisurely walk through the centre of Vienna.

After a joint breakfast, we started the day on 5 April fully motivated. The rector of KPH Vienna/Krems gave us a warm welcome. Afterwards, Ihor reported on the current situation in Ukraine. Then we worked intensively on Result 1. Ernestine presented her proposal for the implementation of the concept. In the afternoon, we made a short excursion to the botanical garden.
After a busy day, we enjoyed ourselves in the evening at the 12 Apostelkeller. On the way there, we also stopped by the Augustin

Our last day started again with a joint breakfast. Thereafter the presentation of the concept for quality assurance in the SysMind project, we enjoyed the peace and quiet in the church "Maria am Gestade". Our last steps were the coordinating of dates for our further meetings in Skopje, Spain and the next online meeting. Then we had the pleasure of being guests at the Vienna Business School. The students gave exciting presentations and discussed with the participants.

Looking back at three exciting, fun and varied days, we are already looking forward to the next Transnationan Meeting in Skopje in September 2022.
